As most of you guys know, that quite while
ago, I went to Bangladesh again to attend Tonima (My cousin) and
Salman's wedding. Me and my mum left on the 21 June and had stayed there
for 3 weeks but I did miss my dad who we had to leave behind. There
was nine events.
First there was the bridal shower. (I
will probably present this you guys in class so then I will explain
what some of you probably won't understand.)
Then there was an
event where you put hena on, in Bengali you call it "Me-hi-di" Tonima and
Salman both had it... These are photos of Tonima's "Me-hi-di"
When we went to
Salman's "Me-hi-di" We made Tonima go in a disguise. Because usually the bride
is not allowed to attend the groom's events. So we disguised Tonima as one of my
grandmother's friend, but sadly the groom recognised her the first time she came in!
Now it was
Tonimas's holud.
Some of my
relatives and I danced at her holud.
Salman also
came.
Now it was Salman's
holud.
Tonima was sick of coming disguised so she just went as herself.
Now was the signing
of the papers that actually makes them officially married. But sadly I dont have
any pictures for this event. So how many events so far...I think about 6, 3 to
go!
Now is the wedding.
:D
I wore a
Sari...
(the person beside me is my cousins wife.)
And that is my mum's cousin.
The ceremony has
begun...
Last but not least.
The paint fight. We used powdered paint.
(On the left is my cousin)
So thats it. I'll
explain alot more stuff in class. Hope you liked my short summary of my trip.
wow looks great titi.
