My Weekend! J

On Sunday, I woke early and got dressed and ready for church.

At church, we made stuff out of salt dough and afterwards had a delicious morning tea.

At home, I played with Roxy in her playground and also ate lunch out there.

After lunch, we went inside and then I went into the back garden and through the gate to Zoe’s house!

Her mum (Isabel) had lit a fire in the fire pit in her backyard. Isabel moved the outside couch from the deck, and put it by the fire. She also brought down some hot chocolate in a flask and it was gone in seconds.

We went into the wild jungle (which is mine and Zoe’s family’s shared garden that looks a lot like a jungle), and we played for hours.

At about 5.15 I walked home to find that dad was building an ‘All-Terrain Vehicle’ for Roxy.

It was made out of a cardboard box (which was the base) and included; a candle stick for the wheel, a periscope, an ‘oxygen tank’ a TV, headlights, a window and various buttons – jump, fly, drive, eject distress etc. etc.

After Roxy had had several ‘test runs’ we had dinner. Then Roxy had to go to bed. We watched the rest of a movie and then read a book. It was getting late so I had to go to bed, and when I was in bed, I relaxed with all of the events of the weekend circling in my head.
