Titi's Trip

On thursday 7th June My family (mum and dad) and I went to Rotorua. We went because my mum and dad had a doctors conference there. This was my fifth time coming to Rotorua and second time coming for a conference. 7th June: We set off for our long journey to Rotorua. We arrived at 5:00 pm smelling the distinct smell of sulphur. Soon we were at our motel- Pohutu lodge. We met up with Adrita( ex-student of Frankley) who was also staying at Pohutu lodge. The owners of Pohutu lodge (Barry and Shirley) volunteered to look after us. So Adrita,Basree (Adrita's sister) and I played all day with their two little dogs called Jack (for Jacqueline) and Bob. After I came home, I had so much dog hair on myself you could almost call me half dog! Then we went to dinner, Mum, Dad , Basree and I went to nandos and Adrita and her mum and dad went to a Thai restaurant. After a while Adrita came and ate with us because she said "the Thai was too hot". After that we went straight back to the hotel and went to bed. 8th June: Basree has asthma and was sick so Adrita and I looked after her. Most of the time we played on the computer and watched t.v. Once our mum and dads came home then we had dinner and then went to our motel room and went to sleep. 9th June: Basree was feeling a little better so we stayed at Shirley's house. As usual we played with the dogs all day, had dinner with our parents and went to sleep. 10th June: this time my dad looked after us. He took us to the geysers and then to the local mall and we did some shopping. After that we went to the place that the conference was happening, dad showed us around. When we finally met up with our mums we went to nandos. When we were at nandos adrita wasn't there. The reason was just when they were hopping into the car Adrita's dad's phone rang, he got a call saying that he had won something in a draw and that something was $500 stethoscope! After we had nandos we set off back to New Plymouth. So here I am! Hope you liked my brief summary of my trip to Rotorua! -Nazeefah (Titi)
